Welcome to the website of St. Mary’s Abbey. We are a Benedictine monastic community of forty-five monks who live a life of common prayer, common work, and congenial relationships. Just as I am sure you would find us most hospitable were you to visit us (and you are always welcome here), I’m confident that you will find our website equally friendly.
You will read here about our life of prayer and work, our various apostolates, how to pursue time in our Retreat Center, and the procedures to be followed if you are discerning the call to join us. The website will also give you a fairly good idea of how beautiful are the fields, hills and woodlands of St. Mary’s Abbey.
