Visiting Us as a Vocation Guest

Retreat opportunities are an opportunity for single Catholic men (ages 18-45) to go beyond books or impressions and experience the monastic life. Many participants may know little about or may never before have visited a monastery. Whatever your experience is, come and visit us!

The most important aspect of the retreats will be our liturgical celebrations in the Abbey Church. In addition, the quiet repose of our 192 acre campus in the midst of 5000 acres of federal and county parkland.  Your experience will be enhanced by discussions on related topics such as scripture, liturgy, theology, and monastic spirituality.  

In addition to the daily celebration of the Eucharist, worship during these retreats includes: Matins (morning prayer), Midday Prayer, Vespers (evening prayer), and Compline (night prayer).
